Chuck Wilson is a mental-health therapist, social worker, author, publisher, and philanthropist best known for “Good News,” a daily inspirational message reaching hundreds of thousands worldwide. Raised in North Carolina with studies at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and Oxford Graduate School, he’s spent his career strengthening individuals, families, and communities. Chuck tackles complex issues—gang and domestic violence, mental health, disaster recovery, youth literacy, social justice, and civil rights—serving as a crisis/behavioral therapist and consultant to groups ranging from the Carolina Panthers to Steve Harvey’s Boys Mentoring Program. His academic and union leadership includes principal investigator roles on three HHS-related grants at UH Mānoa (twice honored by the Hawaiʻi Senate and House), program leadership at Pasco-Hernando State College, and national well-being initiatives for AFT’s 1.2M members. He also trains and facilitates workshops supporting DoD Special Operations and U.S. SOCOM.
